Two| Second meet

The next day, the college felt weirdly quiet after the buzz of the cafe. My mind kept drifting back to the boy with the book, his deep voice echoing in my head. Every glance I stole towards the window, every laugh that erupted from my friends, felt like a distraction.

During lunch, Sanaya caught me doodling hearts with my initials in the margin of my notebook. "Spill it, Meher! You can't keep me in suspense any longer. What was that look between you and Bookworm yesterday?"
